About the Artist:
Born and raised in the countryside of New England, Melissa Gisele Fabbri spent her childhood either exploring the woods or making art. She studied jewelry design and sculpture at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. She now works out of her studio in South Lake Tahoe, California, still exploring the woods and making art.
About the Name:
Fabbri's middle name, Gisele, came from her grandmother, Lucille Gisele Beaudoin. She grew up in Quebec and moved to the United States in the late 40s.
About the Process:
Each piece is made by hand in South Lake Tahoe. Fabbri does all the metal work and lapidary herself. Every piece is completely unique. She uses recycled metals and all of her hand cut gemstones are ethically mined in the US.
All jewelry can be cleaned with a standard jewelers cloth or warm water and mild soap. It is important to treat all of your jewelry with special care. I recommend keeping each piece in a separate small plastic bag to prevent it from tarnishing and getting scratched.
Exchanges can be made for store credit up to 2 weeks after the piece was purchased.
